RE: Temporary Suspension of Service to Gateway Oaks Stop
Yuba-Sutter Transit just received notice of the closure of Garden Highway between Interstate 5 and Gateway Oaks Drive in Sacramento for a levee construction project beginning Wednesday, April 22nd. As a result, Yuba-Sutter Transit is temporarily suspending service to the Gateway Oaks Drive bus stop effective the same date. This closure will continue until further notice, but the levee project is expected to be completed by May 31st.
During this closure period, passengers that would otherwise use this stop for service can meet the first morning Highway 70 (170) schedule at any of our downtown bus stops for service to the Caltrans District 3 Headquarters building on B Street in Marysville. The last afternoon Highway 70 (470) will continue to pick up at the Caltrans building at 4:05 p.m. each weekday for service back to downtown Sacramento.
Please call our administrative office at (530) 634-6880 or send a note to info@yubasuttertransit.com if you have any questions.
